Odaily News FOX Business reporter Eleanor Terrett wrote on X: "Binance and the US SEC have just filed a joint motion to suspend the lawsuit against the exchange for 60 days, arguing that the new SEC cryptocurrency working group may be involved in the case. This is the first move to seek a court suspension of crypto-related litigation since Mark Uyeda took over as acting chairman of the SEC.
'The work of this working group may influence and facilitate the potential resolution of this case,' the motion states. 'After 60 days, the parties plan to issue a joint status report to determine whether a continued stay is warranted.
I expect we’ll see other non-fraud cases (i.e. Ripple, Coinbase, Kraken, etc.) follow suit in this fashion.”
