US suspends tariffs on Canada for at least 30 days

Odaily News Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau said after a phone call with US President Trump that the US will suspend additional tariffs on Canada for at least 30 days. Trump signed an executive order on the 1st of this month to impose a 25% tariff on goods imported from Mexico and Canada. Earlier on February 3rd local time, Trump spoke with Mexican President Sheinbaum. After the call, both announced that the United States and Mexico agreed to immediately suspend the implementation of the additional tariffs for one month and continue negotiations.
