Odaily News OpenSea has launched a new platform, OpenSea 2.0 (OS2), which introduces a redesigned user interface and experience point (XP) system to increase user engagement. Currently, the OS2 platform is in private testing, and users who hold Gemesis NFTs have priority access, while other users need to join the waiting list.
Gemesis NFT is a special NFT that OpenSea airdropped to users of its sub-platform Gem (now renamed OpenSea Pro) in 2023. OpenSea has taken a blockchain snapshot of 49,785 wallets holding Gemesis NFTs, and these wallet users are eligible to participate in this test.
The XP system introduced with the OS2 update allows users to earn points by listing items, bidding on collectibles, and submitting beta testing feedback.
