AI voice company WaveForms completes $40 million seed round of financing, led by a16z

Odaily星球日报讯 前 OpenAI 研究员 Alexis Conneau 创立的 AI 语音初创公司 WaveForms 获得 4000 万美元种子轮融资，估值达到 2 亿美元。此轮融资由 Andreessen Horowitz 领投。

据悉，WaveForms 致力于开发能够捕捉情感线索、实现更自然语音交互的 AI 音频软件，旨在提升人与机器间的语音对话体验。Conneau 此前曾在 OpenAI 开发先进的语音助手功能，今年 8 月离职后于 9 月在旧金山创立 WaveForms。（彭博社）
