Andrew Kang: The current DeSci field is similar to the DeFi era in early 2019, with huge potential

Odaily News Andrew Kang, partner of Mechanism Capital, said in a post on X: “The DeSci field now feels like the DeFi era in early 2019. Everything is still primitive and experimental, but one basic conclusion can be drawn from it, that is, it has huge potential. Current projects may not have the same models/products as in the future, but this is because they are being developed through iterations. This is the case with Maker, Synthetix, and Aave in 2019. They were small-cap projects that were not flexible enough at the time, and now they have become huge protocols.”
