Trump has won support and campaign donations from the industry by promising to become a “crypto president” and end Biden’s crackdown on crypto companies that regulators accuse of violating securities and anti-money laundering laws. Trump is also pushing for an executive order guaranteeing crypto companies access to banking services and ending enforcement actions against them, among other changes.
