Odaily News Venture capital firm Khosla Ventures has raised a $405 million special purpose entity (SPV) to invest in OpenAI's $6.6 billion financing round, according to people familiar with the matter and a regulatory filing. The SPV will be composed of funds provided by Khosla Ventures and external investors, according to people familiar with the matter. Venture capitalists usually support startups, but they also pool funds through SPVs to participate in later financing rounds. Khosla Ventures has previously invested in projects including: NEAR ecological blockchain infrastructure company Calimero Network, Worldcoin, investment application Seashell, Chain (XCN), etc.
