US judge upholds SEC's unregistered securities charges against crypto wallet Rivetz

Odaily News U.S. District Judge Mark Mastroianni approved the SEC's motion for summary judgment, supporting the SEC's allegations that crypto wallet company Rivetz sold unregistered securities. The SEC accused Rivetz of violating securities laws in its $18 million initial coin offering (ICO) in 2017. The court requires the SEC to consult with Rivetz CEO Steven Sprague and submit a proposed injunction and monetary relief judgment by October 22, 2024. (Coindesk)
