Odaily News California Governor Gavin Newsom signed two bills on Tuesday that require consent from actors and performers before digital reproductions are made and used. AB2602 and AB1836 also aim to provide protection for living and deceased performers against unauthorized AI-generated deepfakes. (Decrypt)
