Tether to defend against Celsius 'extortion' lawsuit

Odaily News Tether released a statement on its official website, saying it will defend the lawsuit filed by Celsius Network Limited. Celsius had sued Tether and certain of its affiliates in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York through Blockchain Recovery Investment Consortium, LLC. Tether pointed out that the lawsuit was without merit and was intended to improperly impose the costs of Celsius' mismanagement and failure on Tether.
