In the coming days, Eclipse will invite developers to deploy projects on the mainnet and participate in hackathons. Eclipse is the first SVM Layer2 solution based on Ethereum, combining the high speed performance of Solana with the liquidity of Ethereum, providing developers with a unique platform where they can easily and securely deploy their dapps to Eclipse. The "Total Eclipse Challenge" hackathon will be held from August 7th to 21st, with a total prize of nearly $50,000. The event will also feature presentations, workshops, and guidance from world-class judges and mentors. The Eclipse team said that while the mainnet is still in training mode, they are committed to transitioning to a more decentralized phase as soon as possible and providing permissionless fraud proofs and bridges that minimize trust. Eclipse expects to be the best performing Layer2 solution on Ethereum.
