Vitalik: Simplifying hash functions to discrete logarithms is not an option

Odaily News Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin said in a reply to a netizen on X: "It is not advisable to simplify the (Sinsemilla) hash function to a discrete logarithm, because one of the potential goals of looking at the hash function is quantum resistance. We hope to be able to do this once and then fix the state tree from this point on."
