Odaily News Paradigm open-sources the EVM compiler Revmc, which aims to improve EVM performance. Paradigm said it recently released a high-performance roadmap for Reth, calling for wider use of "Gas per second" as a performance metric for EVM blockchains, and detailing plans to scale the blockchain to 1 GB per second and above, which is 1,000 times better than Ethereum's current status. At the same time, Paradigm will open source Revmc, a compiler for reducing EVM bytecode to native code, which has demonstrated improvements from 1.85x to 19x in various real-world EVM benchmarks. Revmc has also been integrated in Reth and the chain has been successfully synchronized. Next, Revmc will be integrated in OP Reth for use in L2, and its improvements will play a role in computationally heavy workloads.
