Lykke shuts down trading after $22 million in suspicious outflows, users can no longer withdraw assets

Odaily News British cryptocurrency exchange Lykke has stopped trading after losing $22 million due to a "security incident". The incident was first reported by network researcher SomaXBT, who said the exchange was closed two days after being hacked. MetaMask developer and cryptocurrency defense expert Taylor Monahan said the exchange has suffered $22 million in suspicious fund outflows. Lykke's cumulative trading volume last month reached $2.5 million.
