Griffin Gaming Partners, which focuses on Web3 games, plans to raise $500 million for its third fund

Odaily News Regulatory documents show that gaming venture capital firm Griffin Gaming Partners plans to raise $500 million for its third flagship fund, 33% smaller than its second fund. Griffin raised $750 million for its second flagship fund in 2022, when venture capitalists' enthusiasm for Web3 and crypto games peaked. Griffin Gaming Partners led Web3 game developer Forte's $185 million Series A financing in 2021, and led blockchain game studio N3twork Studios' $46 million Series A financing in 2022. (PitchBook)
