Modular blockchain Sophon raises over $60 million through node sale

Odaily News Sophon, a zkSync-based modular blockchain, raised over $60 million through node sales. A total of about 121,000 network nodes were sold, netting about 20,391 ETH (worth $62.7 million). According to people familiar with the matter, many of the nodes may have been purchased by venture capital firms. According to previous news, in the draft of SOPH's token economic model, nodes are allocated 20% (released in 36 months, and will be locked for an additional 3 months after receiving). (Coindesk)
