Odaily News Privacy-focused Layer 1 blockchain Namada recently launched an incentivized testnet that will be rewarded with 3% of its total token supply. Namada’s testnet will allow participants (validators and users) to join a competitive event to test its consensus algorithm (CometBFT) and its ability to resist Sybil attacks. Participants will be ranked based on the number of ROID (points) they accumulate. Successful players will receive a total of 30 million NAM tokens (3% of the total supply of 1 billion). The Namada testnet will begin on January 15th and last until the end of the month. The testnet incentives come a week after Namada announced an airdrop of 65 million NAM tokens (6.5% of the total supply) to researchers, developers and token holders on the Cosmos Hub and Osmosis blockchains​​ .
