The Optimism Foundation transferred 22.4 million OP to a multi-signature address

Odaily reported that according to Scopescan monitoring, 30 minutes ago, the Optimism Foundation transferred 22.4 million OP (approximately US$40.32 million) to the multi-signature address starting with 0x44a2. Prior to the news on November 15, Optimism stated that it had transferred approximately 22 million OP tokens between wallets controlled by the Optimism Foundation. This transfer was an internally planned transaction and officials disclosed this large transfer to keep the community informed.
