Odaily News Bitcoin Layer2 Network Stacks issued an article introducing the sBTC developer version. The Stacks ecosystem is preparing for the sBTC developer version, which will allow selected developers to build and test with early versions of sBTC. It is reported that sBTC is the BTC version supported 1:1 on the Stacks layer. sBTC’s testnet will allow users to start testing sBTC’s deposit and withdrawal processes, while developers in the Bitcoin L2 ecosystem can start integrating these deposit and withdrawal processes into their own applications by using APIs and wallets (Leather, Xverse, etc.) in process. The sBTC working group expects to deliver the developer version during the week of October 18, and applications for the incentivized testnet program are currently open.
