Odaily News: According to official sources, Avalanche has announced the launch of a new cross-chain communication protocol called Teleporter, which is now open for testing.

Teleporter is built on Avalanche's native communication protocol, Avalanche Warp Messaging (AWM), and aims to provide a simple and native way for smart contract developers to call contracts on other EVM-based chains within Avalanche.

Developers have set up three EVM subnets (Amplify, Bulletin, Conduit) on the Fuji testnet, each equipped with Teleporter and AWM Relayer. These subnets serve as places for deploying contracts and testing integration with Teleporter. Teleporter and Warp precompiles are currently in the experimental/testing phase, and the team plans to expand their deployment to other subnets and the C-Chain in the coming months.
