Odaily News: Barnabas Busa, an engineer from the Ethereum Foundation, tweeted on the X platform (formerly Twitter) that the Holesky public testnet genesis file has been generated and merged into the main branch of the Holesky GitHub repository for Ethereum clients.
The Holesky public testnet is expected to launch at 22:00 on September 15, 2023, Beijing time, and will have 1,460,000 validating nodes, making it the largest public network to date. The Ethereum Foundation will distribute over 2 billion hETH during the genesis phase of the Holesky public testnet.
