Odaily News: World Assets, a subsidiary of the Worldcoin Foundation, will mint and distribute Worldcoin tokens (WLD) to one million qualified users participating in the beta testing. The tokens are now available for trading on the blockchain. Additionally, Tools For Humanity has released a new version of the World App, which is the first wallet compatible with the protocol. Individuals can now store their WLD tokens in this wallet, subject to legal regulations.



Worldcoin promises to expedite the registration process by deploying orbs in over 35 cities across 20 countries globally. Individuals verified through the ORB will initially receive 25 WLD tokens and will also be eligible for regular rewards in the future.
