Odaily News: StarkWare today released the roadmap for the programming language Cairo. Cairo V2 is about to be released, and the project team expects to introduce new contract syntax alongside Starknet alpha v0.12.0.



StarkWare stated that Cairo is now stable and feature-rich enough to support complex applications and port existing Cairo 0 logic. Additionally, the backward compatibility guarantee of Starknet ensures that users will have sufficient time (at least six months) to complete contract development, review, and deployment, even if there are significant changes in the language.
