US SEC rejects VanEck spot bitcoin trust application

Odaily星球日报讯 美国证券交易委员会（SEC）于3月10日下令反对一项允许投资公司VanEck创建现货比特币信托VanEck Bitcoin Trust的规则变更。

美国SEC委员Mark Uyeda、Hester Peirce发表声明指责SEC的这一决定，SEC已否决所有已提交的现货比特币信托申请，在过去六年中已达到近20项。他们表示，SEC对ETP申请人的审核“双标”，“在我们看来，SEC对其他类型基于商品的ETP使用的标准与过去和现在使用的标准不同，以使这些现货比特币ETP远离我们监管的交易所。”（Cointelegraph）
